Re: How to correct a title already uploaded? |
Following your message.
Perhaps general readers are not entitled to correct the titles of books except those uploaded by himself?
I have noticed a fews books just titled "no title" or something. Also, many books from a multi-volume set are not indicated exactly which volume they are.
Sometimes I add a few words showing the exact volume number in the review box.

Internet Archive would benefit from a "common knowledge" database, a database that anyone could edit, with fields like "Canonical title" and "Series" - LibraryThing has something like this and it has worked out great, and they have over 30 million works (compared to IA's 1.5 million or so). It not only helps fill in knowledge, but draws and retains a community of users.
